[01-06-2011] Did you know?
... that you can climb those lattice things outside the windows on Nuketown?
Finally there's more than one way into those stupid camp-bunkers.
... ballistic knife kills in Sticks and Stones are worth the same amount of points as crossbow kills, despite being 10x harder to achieve?
Go figure that tomahawks are only worth 10.
... although silenced, normally inaccurate weapons (such as assault rifles) can repeatedly fire accurate bursts, sniper rifles fail to provide usable accuracy after the first shot?
Let's see, would I rather have annoying quickscoping & usable sniper rifles or no quickscoping & absolutely useless sniper rifles, hmm.
... that Treyarch has dun goofed yet again by making the AK-74u the most all-around powerful weapon?
The good ol' stupid, overpowered MP40 brings back a few memories.
... that although being a .45 caliber pistol, the M1911 is the worst wepon in Zombies?
It never did make sense how a .357 could rape zombies in W@W yet the .45 couldn't kill with a headshot after round 3. Then again, I really don't understand the mechanics behind projectiles.
That's all for now folks, stay tuned for more [un]interesting facts in the upcoming weeks![/b]

you gotta think about the guns though, they cant make ALL the guns completely balanced or that would just make every gun the same, so there is always gonna be a rape-tastic gun

There's a difference between making a few guns better and making one extremely overpowered, though. MW2 at least had a few good weapons: UMP45, AK-47, TAR-21, SCAR-H, etc., but they all had some sort of downfall: less accuracy, recoil, and whatnot. Treyarch has a bad habit of making one weapon overly powerful with virtually no downsides.

well, its pointless to use the ak for long shots, it has quite the recoil so usually it doesn't work

Not necessarily. Some people prefer using guns for different purposes. They should have a limit of say 100 points per gun, and distribute this across all the different weapon criteria so for example one gun might have 90 for power and 10 for accuracy, and one might have 50 for power and 50 for accuracy. Both guns are technically balanced, but it depends how people value power over accuracy over clip capacity etc..

i will say, neither cod4 or cod6 have any real specifically-overpowered guns like cod5 and cod7

It's a Treyarch thing.
